Why Trees Matter

Trees are more than just nature’s beauty. They:

  • Absorb carbon dioxide, reducing climate change impacts.
  • Provide shade and cooler environments in hot regions.
  • Protect soils and water sources, preventing erosion and floods.
  • Create habitats for wildlife and pollinators.
  • Offer mental and physical health benefits through green spaces.

I’m very conscious of the fact that you can’t do it alone. It’s teamwork. When you do it alone you run the risk that when you are no longer there nobody else will do it.
